Cedar
In the language of flowers, Cedar stands for strength, protection, and stability. Inspired by these qualities, we created the “Cedar” cardigan-crafted with care and designed to reflect the beauty of nature. Every detail highlights natural patterns, gently enveloping your silhouette. Ethically made, this cardigan is kind to both the environment and the people who craft it.
Carded merino wool
The carded wool used for Cedar is obtained through a carding process that untangles the wool fibers. This method creates a soft and voluminous yarn, ideal for warm and comfortable garments. Cedar stands out for its softness without compromising durability. Carefully and ethically produced in Italy, the yarn comes from Lane Cardate, a symbol of Italian tradition and quality.
Who makes Cedar?
In a small workshop in Turin, Susi lovingly and dedicatedly creates each Cedar, using exclusively antique machines and manual techniques. This makes each piece truly unique.
Why you’ll love Cedar?
Your timeless oversized cardigan
Soft, cozy, and versatile, Cedar seamlessly blends yarn, design, and craftsmanship to create a unique, timeless piece. Designed to be your go-to cardigan, it brings comfort and well-being every time you wear it.
Enduring softness
Cedar’s carded wool, crafted through a special process that loosens the fibers, results in a plush, voluminous yarn. Perfect for warm, comfortable garments that don’t sacrifice durability.
Natural and ethical
Made from 100% natural yarn, Cedar embodies our commitment to sustainability. We know the artisans behind our garments personally, and each piece is crafted with love and care in small workshops, using traditional machines and hand techniques.

Take care of Cedar
Wool is magical: if you leave the sweater outside overnight, it regenerates and self-cleans, removing odors. It’s not necessary to wash the sweater every time; once or twice during the season is sufficient. We recommend hand washing and gentle drying for Cedar, following the ancient technique of rolling it in a towel, a method passed down from grandmothers.
